–> Heritage Days

Every year the LC2R participates in national efforts to present cultural heritage to the general public, especially on “European Heritage Days”. On this occasion, the premises are accessible to the public so that they can see the conservators’ main work; observe objects being restored and learn about current research.

It is an occasion to interact with the general public, with history and/or archaeology students and with elected people, in order to demonstrate a relatively unknown profession

In partnership with various museum structures, the laboratory:

  • Invites presenters to hold workshops, for example how to light a fire using prehistoric techniques (in partnership with the Musée de Quinson)
  • Participates in ‘open-house’ days organised by various museums (conferencesin Antibes, Vaison-la-Romaine etc.)
